The El Cucuy Tribe

Travelers to the west visiting Joshua Tree, located in the Mojave Desert about 140 miles east of Los Angeles, should be cautious of the indigenous El Cucuy tribe. Information about this clan is scarce but judging by these ghastly images they appear to be dangerous.

Notice the resemblance to members of the band U2. Possibly a decoy for trapping victims and luring into camp. Frightening.

Women appear to be dominant and very aggressive.

The El Cucuy symbol of pride.

We were shocked to discover their flying abilities.

Amazing Race Audition

Here's our audition for the Amazing Race but unfortunately, we were too late to apply. Open casting was in San Diego and we missed it by a day. Oh well, next time. In this video my nephew Andrew (with the 80s headband) and I (with the big hair) are demonstrating our stellar frisbee golf skills.

We also have a tip for the creators of Amazing Race. During this economic crisis, you may want to consider creating an AMAZING RACE: UNEMPLOYED. There are plenty of talented unemployed Americans these days that could use a trip around the world and a chance at a million dollars. If that happens, you saw it here first!

Disney Darlings

Enjoyed a magical day at Disneyland recently to celebrate the birthday of two of my dearest friends. Here we are in front of the Sleeping Beauty Castle followed by a short video of our ride on the Casey Jr. Circus Train. Choo! Choo!

Come to think of it, March is a busy month for birthdays. And with that said, I'd like to say cheers to all of my special friends and family that are celebrating their birthdays this month. Mwah!

The 5 Things I've Learned from Making a Facebook for My Cat

So this is Missile. Isn't she freaking cute?! We met last summer and have been connected by the hip ever since. One day while listening to MGMT (don't know why they inspired this but they did) I thought, "Hey, I should make her a Facebook!" So I asked my FB buddies what they thought and the response was split. Some thought I was crazy and others thought it was genius and honestly, it wouldn't have mattered. I would've done it either way. Look her up: Missile Yuskoff. Friend her!

The 5 Things I've learned from Making a Facebook for My Cat:

1. Yes, some people will think you're nuts for making a pet profile but your pet will love you either way so who cares. Besides, it's just plain fun to develop their personality.

2. It turns out you are not alone. Several people make pet profiles. Don't believe me? Do a search for "Purina Cat" on Facebook. Missile has been eyeing Otis T Cat. *Update: Just found this pet community: http://www.cuteashell.com/

3. Her posts crack people up. One of my friends told me Missile made his day after he visited her profile. Yeah!

4. Sic em' boy! So now when your friend posts that dreaded high school picture of you without your permission, you know the one where you look like shit and she looks hot, retaliate by sending your pet to post the time she got drunk at your house and...(Missile doesn't miss a thing).

5. And finally, as it is with any cuddly pet, it's a great cure for the blues.

*Update: It's been a month since Missile's FB was created and it appears she's got a fan!

Toodle-oo World of Warcraft

No more quests, one hit blows or firing shadow bolts! After two years of devoting a myriad of hours to World of Warcraft, better known as WoW, it's time to say goodbye (for good or not, is still in question). WoW turned this girl, (yes, a real one) that once scratched her head when hearing words like "pwned!," into a serious gamer. Sure, I may have started out as a blundering fool, crashing into trees and dying constantly, but I soldiered on leveling up to a 73 toon with epic gear, and gained respect among high ranking guilds. My alter ego, emilyhaines, a fearless warlock from Hakkar, was well liked among this male dominated/female thirsty world, and I will miss all my friends dearly (even those on my ignore list). On my last day, I took this shot of my "WoW buddies"--probably people I will likely never know in real life, but will definitely remember. For the Alliance!
